Like previous years representatives from Mediright will be attending the Health and Wellbeing at Work conference at Birmingham National Exhibition Centre on the 8th and 9th of March 2016. It’s the 10th year and is aimed at providing information to improve the health and wellbeing of work-aged people. The exhibition and presentations will provide an abundance of information for Health Professionals, Human Resource, Health and Safety Specialist etc. The conference will also provide information on national developments, service innovations and updates on the latest relevant research. In previous years Mediright have utilised the information to provide updates and briefings for internal staff and to enhance personal portfolios. With re validation looming for all NMC registered nurses the accessibility to the 21 conferences will provide invaluable re validation resource materials and information for team updates.

Good risk management is fundamental because it helps lead to improved productivity, higher levels of innovation and it delivers economic growth., it is integral to business success, as well as being about ensuring that everyone goes home safe and well after a day’s work. It’s about focusing on the important stuff and putting measures in place which are proportionate and sensible.
Whilst Great Britain’s health and safety record is the envy of much of the world. Central to this is protecting people by managing risk in a proportionate and effective way, supporting innovation and increasing productivity. The challenge is to improve even further on this impressive record.
HSE is seeking to influence the system through the Help Great Britain work well strategy.
